Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club
Without a doubt, the best pool at Walt Disney World is at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Stormalong bay is a 3 acre pool and water park area located along the beaches of Disney’s Crescent Lake.
Located near the Disney pool area is a life sized shipwreck that features a more than 200 foot waterslide. Additionally, Disney’s Stormalong Bay has a kids pool with real sand.
One of my favorite parts of this Disney World pool is the lazy river. The Disney Stormalong Bay lazy river even runs through the entire Disney pool complex.
The Disney Stormalong Bay pool complex is one of the most popular Disney World pools so it’s always busy. If you want to get a seat at Stormalong Bay, make sure to get a pool chair early in the morning.
Lava Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney World’s Polynesian Resort has many pools including the Lava and Oasis pools. But one of the best Disney World pools, is the Lava pool.
The main feature of the Disney lava pool is the giant volcano towering over the entire pool area. Along with the volcano, this Walt Disney World pool has a waterfall and 100 foot waterslide.
The Disney Polynesian lava pool is very family friendly as the pools slopes in similar to the ocean. While visiting the Polynesian Lava pool, also make sure to check out the Barefoot Pool bar for some great drinks and food!
Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
One of the most unique Disney World pools is the Fuentes del Morro pool at Caribbean Beach. The Caribbean Beach pool is themed like a Spanish fortress and even feels a little like a Pirates of the Caribbean movie set.
The entire Fuentes del Morro pool area is surrounded by fortress towers that contain water cannons. This is one of the only Disney pools with war cannons to spray your family and friends.
This Walt Disney World pool also has 2 waterslides and a shipwreck play area for little kids.
Since this Disney World pool area is themed like the Caribbean, a tropical drink is necessary! The Banana cabana pool bar features amazing tropical drinks, great snacks, and are an added feature to this best Disney World pool!
The Lost City of Cibola Pool at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Another great Disney World pool is the Lost City of Cibola Pool at Coronado Springs but also referred to as the Disney Dig site pool.
The Dig site pool is the feature pool at Disney’s Coronado Springs and features a Mayan temple that towers over the pool area. Next to the Mayan temple, is a 120 foot waterslide that features a spitting Jaguar making your ride even more adventurous.
This Disney World pool area also has the largest hot tub at Walt Disney World. And no Disney pool area is complete without a dedicated kids area. Disney’s Coronado Springs pool has a great kids area for your little ones.
One of my favorite parts of the Lost City of Cibola Pool area is the fun games and activities that the entire family can enjoy together!
Uzima Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
The Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge pools are both really unique and provide all your favorite pool necessities. The Uzima Springs pools is huge, over 11,000 square feet, and looks out into the Savanna.
The Uzima Springs pool has a natural beach area and a 60 foot waterslide. Like many of the other Disney World pools, the Uzima Springs pool bar offers great food and drinks for a great Disney pool day.
Unlike some other Disney World resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodges also has another really popular pool, the Samawati Springs Pool.
The Samawati Springs Pool is located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas and also features great amenities like a waterslide, bar and much more.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you get two great Disney pools for the price of one!
Beach Pool at Disney’s Grand Floridian
Disney’s Grand Floridian’s Beach Pool has a unique advantage in that it overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom. The main feature of this Disney World pool, is the natural rocks and caves that give it a serene, calming view.
The Beach Pool at the Grand Floridian has a 180 foot waterslide and an aquatic play area for little ones. Additionally, this Disney World pool, offers picturesque views of the Walt Disney World resort.
One of the my favorite parts of the Beach Pool is the ability to rent cabanas. If your family is planning on spending the day at this best Disney World pool, a cabana is a great idea.
The Grand Floridian also has another Courtyard pool for a more quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Check out these great Disney pools on your next Disney trip!
