10 Snacks You Must Try at the Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom Snacks

Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is known for being one of the most iconic, magical places on earth. Besides the rides, attractions, and experiences, the Magic Kingdom is also known for having some of the most unique and delicious snacks on earth. On every trip to Disney World, there are a few snacks I always have to have! These are some of the best snacks on Disney property so make sure to check them out on your next Disney vacation!

Dole Whip

My favorite snack at Disney World is Dole Whip! Dole Whip is pineapple soft-serve ice cream that was created for Disney Parks by the Dole Food Company in the 1980’s.  Disney has sense expanded on the original pineapple Dole Whip and created a pineapple and vanilla swirl and a float with pineapple soft-serve and pineapple juice. Luckily for those with food allergies, Dole Whip is both gluten free and made with vegan ingredients.

Dole Whip is so popular among Disney guests that Disney has starting serving Dole Whip in other parks and even starting including Dole Whip on Disney merchandise. Find Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in Adventureland! If you love Dole Whip as much as I do, check out the cute Dole Whip merchandise!

Turkey Leg

The Turkey Leg originated at the Magic Kingdom in the 1980’s and is now one of the most iconic snacks you can get at Disney.  Turkey Legs are now served at six Disney Parks worldwide and millions of Turkey Legs are served every year.

Disney’s Turkey Leg is basically what you picture in your head. It’s very similar to the Turkey Leg you could get at a Renaissance Fair but with a Disney twist. Disney’s Turkey Leg is extra large and has a smoky flavor which separates Disney’s snack from Turkey Legs you can get elsewhere.  You can find a Turkey Leg at the dedicated cart in Frontierland, Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland, Prince Eric’s Village Market in Fantasyland, and Libery Square Market in Liberty Square.

Churro

Like both the Turkey Leg and Dole Whip, Churro’s are another one of Disney’s famous snacks! Disney is known for their Churro’s around the world subsequently, over 5 million Churro’s are sold every year at Disney Park’s worldwide!

At first, Disney introduced the classic cinnamon Churro but the popularity caused Disney to experiment with more unique flavors at other Disney parks and resorts. At the Magic Kingdom, you will find classic cinnamon and cinnamon sugar Churros at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. If your looking to try more exotic flavors, look out for Churros in Epcot, Disney Springs, and Disney Resorts! You never know where you will find your favorite Churro!

Mickey Pretzel

Food shaped like Mickey Mouse always tastes delicious! Mickey Pretzels are a classic in all the Disney Parks worldwide. Who doesn’t love a soft pretzel with cheese or mustard! While this treat isn’t anything fancy, it’s always fresh, hot, and Mickey always makes it taste so much better! While waiting for Happily Ever After to start, I always grab a Mickey Pretzel while we wait!

Waffles at Sleepy Hollow

The Waffles at Sleepy Hollow are so delicious and something you can only get at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Sleepy Hollow serves all kinds of waffles; waffles filled with Nutella, filled with fruit, filled with chicken, and many other amazing fillings!  My personal favorite is the waffle filled with both Nutella and fruit! This is literally the most delicious breakfast you could hope for!

Sleepy Hollow is the only place in the Magic Kingdom to serve these delicious waffles! Sleepy Hollow is located right over the bridge into Frontierland near the Castle. When you walk by, you will always see a long line because people NEED their waffles!

Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll

When Disney expanded Fantasyland in 2012, part of the expansion was a Beauty and the Beast area featuring Gaston’s Tavern. Gaston’s Tavern was created to look like the tavern from the Beauty and the Beast movie and features delicious snacks and refreshments.

At Gaston’s Tavern, you can try Gaston’s famous Cinnamon Roll with warm, gooey cream cheese frosting.  The Gaston Tavern Cinnamon Roll is known for being the best cinnamon roll at Disney World. Try it out for yourself!

LeFou’s Brew

Also at Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland is LeFou’s Brew. LeFou’s Brew is an apple slushy with a mango-passionfruit whipped cream on top.  Because LeFou’s Brew is non-alcoholic, it’s a favorite of the whole family! If your a Beauty and the Beast lover, you can also get your LeFou’s Brew in a souvenir cup to take home and enjoy!

In my opinion, LeFou’s Brew is Disney World’s response to Universal’s Harry Potter Butterbeer! I like LeFou’s Brew better so you’ll have to decide for yourself!

Make sure to come to Disney prepared with fun shirts for your whole family! You’ll see lots of people wearing similar “snacking” shirts around the parks!

Popcorn

Another classic Disney World snack is popcorn! While you can get popcorn at many locations throughout Disney World, my favorite popcorn is from the popcorn carts. One of my favorite things to do is to get a warm bucket of popcorn while I wait in line.

There are many popcorn carts located throughout the Magic Kingdom. To name a few, you can get popcorn in Tommorowland near Space Mountain, in Frontierland between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain, and in the Hub to the right of Cinderella’s Castle.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

A newer snack at the Magic Kingdom is the Cheeseburger Spring Roll.  While not a traditional theme park snack, the Cheeseburger Spring Roll is delicious and is so popular it was recently brought back to the Magic Kingdom.

If your interested in the Cheeseburger Spring Roll, you can find them in Adventureland. Disney hasn’t permanently added the Cheeseburger Spring Roll to their menus so make sure you get them before they are gone!

Casey’s Corn Dog Nuggets

A trip to the Magic Kingdom isn’t complete without a trip to Casey’s Corner! Casey’s Corner is known for ball park food like hot dogs and corn dogs.

One of the most popular items at Casey’s are the mini corn dog nuggets.  The corn dogs come with french fries and cheese sauce. The mini corn dogs were briefly taken off the menu but due to negative public reactions, they were quickly added back.  With such a popularity among Magic Kingdom guests, these are a snack you definitely must check out on your next Disney vacation!

  1. I didn’t have a chance to go and enjoy Magic Kingdom.
once I have a chance to visit, this will be a great list to carry!
thank you so much for sharing!

  2. Those waffles and that cinnamon roll look so good! For some reason I can never find the good food at Disney as it all seems like overpriced cafeteria food. I’ll keep a lookout for these next time.

  3. This is a great list! I have been dreaming of going back to Disney World for a long time now (Last time I went, I was 8 or 9 years old). I always hear people talk about the food, and now my stomach is growling. 🙂

  4. I actually feel so ashamed… Twice I have been to Disney World, and not once have I tried any of the “must try” snacks, including the ones on your list!! 🤭 I’m going to make sure that I try everything (apart from the Turkey leg 🤢) if I ever get there again. Great post ♥️

  5. For as many times as we’ve been to MK, I can’t believe we haven’t tried some of these! I definitely need one of those waffles on our next visit. 🥰

  6. Yum! Last summer, when we were at Disney I had the Dole Whip for the first time. It did not disappoint! The hype was spot on because it was SO DELICIOUS!
