My favorite time of the year is fall and Disney World Halloween makes fall even better. This year Disney’s Halloween festivities also include Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

In addition to the Disney World Halloween party, the Disney Halloween decorations are a sight that can’t be missed. If you love fall like I do, make sure to visit Disney World during Halloween.

Disney’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

The premier Disney World Halloween event is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. This year, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is being hosted on select nights between August 12 and October 31.

This Disney Halloween Party is a hard ticketed event that costs between $139 and 179 for adults and $129 and 169 for kids. Dates for the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party sell out fast so make sure to purchase your tickets early.

So what’s so special about the Disney World Halloween Party? Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party features the Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular, and the Disney’s Not So Spooky Firework show.

The Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade features the headless horseman, your favorite Disney villains and much more. And the Disney’s Not So Spooky firework show is narrated by Jack Skellington and features black and orange fireworks.

Additionally, some of your favorite Disney rides have Halloween overlays. Check out Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion for a special Halloween version of this Disney ride.

While at the Disney World Halloween party, ride your favorite Disney rides and go trick or treating around the Magic Kingdom.

And my favorite part of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the costumes. Many Disney park goers wear Disney themed costumes while they go trick or treating through the Magic Kingdom.

Strategies for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Since this Disney World Halloween party is so expensive, you want to make sure to make the most of the Disney Halloween party. First, you can enter the Magic Kingdom for the Disney Halloween party at 4 PM.

Take advantage of the extra time at the Magic Kingdom by arriving at 4 PM. I would also recommend eating before you arrive at the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

There aren’t many dining options open at the Magic Kingdom once the Mickey’s Not So Scary party starts so make sure you start with a full stomach.

Second, make sure to attend the second viewing on the Disney World Halloween parade. The Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade starts at 9:15 or 11 PM. The 11 PM Disney Halloween parade is less busy than the earlier showing so I recommend this showing for less crowds.

The Disney World Halloween fireworks start at 10:15 PM so make sure to get to the Magic Kingdom hub area early for the best viewing of the Disney Halloween fireworks.

Lastly, I would prioritize the Disney rides and Disney Halloween shows rather than trick or treating. These Disney Halloween experiences only come around once a year so they seem like a better use of time.

Disney World Halloween Decorations

The best Disney World Halloween decorations at located the Magic Kingdom. Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom is filled with pumpkins, falls leaves, scarecrows, and other fall decor.

No fall trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without checking out the Disney World Halloween Decorations. Some of the Walt Disney World resorts and Disney Springs also have fall decor so make sure to check those out too!

Minnie’s Halloween Dine

One of the other popular Disney World Halloween events in the Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood Studios. Minnie’s Halloween Dine takes place from August 12 to November 7 at Hollywood & Vine.

Basically, Minnie’s Halloween Dine is a Disney character meal with Halloween theming. Minnie will stop by and take pictures in her Halloween outfit.
